A little early for a thread yet, most of us will still have our boats out for another month! lol

I'm in no rush for ice that's for sure.

me either i am happy shore fishing the river or getting out in the boat for as long as i can!  The rivers have been pretty damn productive for me too lately.. I caught two beauty 29 inch walleye back to back the weekend before last on the NSR.

X2, I love fall fishing off the boat!

I was up at Nip for the Vanity was was lucky enough to get a couple pigs up there, I've pulled a couple double digits out of the MTN in the last 6 weeks too. Last Saturday Eyecatcher00 and I absolutely hammered them on spoons, nothing beats those days!

Hoping we still have a few more nights like this:

Great picture Layne makes me want to uncover the boat but I think I will just wait for the ice.

Take it out, fishing has been good! Forecast looks like we got a few weeks of boating left, might be one of our latest ice seasons I can recall in recent memory.

Water temps were 45-46 yesterday and all the sloughs on the way to the lake were open by the end of the day. Bring a life jacket, lol.

Hard to say, it will all depend on how cold it gets and what the wind is like but I don't think it will be the beginning of December. This snow will help finally cool the lake off somewhat, I still havent put the boat away yet, haha.

What area of LML were at Burbot Whisperer?

With the cold weather this coming week ice should keep on forming.
Hopefully the expected snow will not slow ice formation down. :-\

Any updates? Or is it still wide open?
The ice angler is a different breed of fisherman. Undeterred by distance, daylight or degrees, these warriors go to extreme measures to chase down the fish attempting to wait out winter below the frozen surface. Through 10-inch holes positioned amidst miles of ice they engage the elusive walleye one-by-one, yeah it's crazy, and some may never understand it.

South end of lake I chopped a hole and dropped a jig yesterday!! No where near where I would ever consider trying to fish but still dropped a line. Could see the ice past Regina beach towards pelican.  Not sure about around the corner

The guys up at big arm are always driving on before anyone else is walking, something tells me common sense isn't so common up that way.

Checked some of the other bays down the lake and the little bit of ice that formed got trashed by the wind and is pretty much back to square 1.. Gonna be awhile before the middle of the lake has safe ice.
