Why in the world was someone trying to drive a dump truck on the ice?

Wee-Too Beach is on Last Mtn. beside Alice Beach across the lake from Spring Bay.  I'm not saying someone didn't name a little strip of cottages on Echo 'Wee-Too' but I don't understand how they could do that since Wee-Too on LML is an incorporated resort village.  Before tonight I'd never heard of one on Echo.

I fished the west side of Mission on Christmas Day.  About 5 inches of soft snow on the ice.  Had no problems driving my front wheel drive minivan.

Was on Echo yesterday morning with limited success.  Lots of small Perch and some Tulibee.  Moved to Pasqua in the afternoon and again experienced limited success, however the Perch were a little bigger.  Is everyone experiencing slow fishing up to this point in the season?  I remember catching lots of keeper Perch a couple years ago and last year when the Perch were not biting, we would take home a few Walleye.  Although I like the Qu'Appelle lakes and have fished them for about five years consecutively, I am considering Last Mountain.  Will do some exploring next time and report back.

Drove around on Mission and flasher showed some fish at 40 feet near Camp Knowles.  Punched some holes and set up camp.  Dropped the cam down and fish galore at the bottom.  Small perch were hitting Gulp maggots.  Lots of Walleye but they weren't really hitting the maggots or minnows.  Walleye would run up to the bait, take a sniff, then back away; HOWEVER, did manage to haul in 5 eaters in the afternoon.

why would you keep a fish of this size??these are prime breeders.hope not to eat?that big would taste poor and if its for the wall you could have gotten a replica done, they are amazing now a days!

I asume Dunnet lake is Avonlea.. Not sure the walleye spawn there.. But fish like that are better left to reproduce if there is any chance at all ..
