Tried to make our way to Glen Harbour this morning.  Road conditions got progressively worse as we drove down highway 322.  We ended up turning around only because we have never fished there before and didn't want to get stuck.  Alternatively, we decided to go to Regina Beach.  Plugged a couple holes and fished for two hours.  We were at Lumsden Bar playing buck hunter and drinking beer by 11:30 am.  Not a very good day of fishing to say the least.  Better luck next time I guess.

fished grandview yesterday and we got a walleye,a pike ,  a 12 lb burbot and 5 jumbo's .  went out again this morning and was a pretty slow day. got a few perch in the morning and then got 4 walleye and a burbot at glen harbour tonight. Lots of snow on the lake, wont go far in a 2 wheel drive.

I am definately not trying to insult Last Mountain Lake - however, comparatively speaking, when we are at the chain lakes, there are many more fish on the flasher and camera.  At Regina Beach today, there were very few fish.  I have the impression that Last Mountain is good for trophy/large fish, but not great for quantity.  Maybe I'm wrong - but that is my personal experience.  I will say that I have had tremendous success summer fishing there.

Hi adipose,
Last Mountain Lake is named after the high hills / min mountains E of Duval.
I have heard they are the some of the highest hills E of the Rockies - the last mountains. :)

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if the bait shop/convince store and restaurant are open year round at Rowan's Ravine on LML?

How has the fishing been in that area of the lake, and what it like to get out on the lake after this big storm?

I know that the park shuts down after September long weekend.  From what I hear, the restaurant and shops shut down too.

Just wondering if anyone has been to Collingwood since the snow? How is the access to the shack village? Any reports of good perch or walleye fishing? Thanks

no luck at regina beach yesterday, a couple missed flags and some harsh wind. My buddy said he made it to pelican in a jacked up truck, but it was rough out there. 4x4 is needed for any travel.  good luck all

I'll be out tomorrow--hoping for better fishing. We have seen some big pike this year, just can't get them to hit. I've been playing around with a few set ups and a few homemade tip-ups for inside the shack.

At Two Tree Point we had a successful run the weekend of January 16th and then the blizzard came and the fishing has gone to nothing. A walleye here and there, a few perch but nothing of fishing value. Lots of shacks on the lake but hardly anyone coming to occupy them the fishing is so terrible.

Driving conditions suck and the fishing has been slow. My lifted truck even has trouble's after that big storm, hopefully the new tire's should help. There are trails on the lake.

Anybody been to Alice Beach, Two Tree, Foxes Point or Swanson's? How's the Walleye bite? Any Dogfish?
