Just because it is legal to keep brookies at George town does not mean only the big ones are going home by the bucket. I do think snake heads are a valuable food source to feed the flourishing Montana population, Flying carp in the Yellowstone will be an entertainment source for those of us who used to bow hunt for elk. Now that the pike beeches have eaten all the elk, the wolf population will plummet. The lower numbers of wolves will lead to a decrease in the population of the Gallatin Valley indigenous ravenous  Labrador (lab), which in turn will lead to the overpopulation of the unpopular meth lab. With the increase of the meth lab will bring on a severe financial burden lowering the sales of Subaru cars across the entire state of Montana, pure pandemonium!  That is why I propose catching a northern pike in Yankee Jim canyon on the recently redesigned ''Yellowstone's 5 inch salmon fly" is a blast. Oh, did I say blast, NRA you are next hmmm? Black guns or muzzle loaders?  Get rid of us white folk and plant native Americans!

To end this nonsense of a rant, which has been laid upon you for the simple fact that the road to Dailey lake is drifted shut.

 I will say that my family is from Croatia, so I am intrusive, invasive, abusive, greedy and non native, also I really like to eat what I catch.

i think everyone is being hard on the croatian guy..last nite when i got home from fishing...i drank 12 beers..stood on my head.. and held my breath while i reread his quote..backwards.. and it actually had a couple good points....seroiuslly now..the croat implies that keeping brookies at g town is legal....not yet!!!!! i am not sure if wardens have a certain ticket quota..like other fed agencies.....but it wouldn't surprise me to see em hand out a tic a week or two before the  regs change.....

I like brookies, the bigger the better. It would take a very very large brookie for me to think its too big to taste good. never met a trout

I agree, brookies are my favorite to eat, and I too have never eaten a BIG one that didn't taste good. I hope GTown doesn't get fished out of brookies, but I know I'll keep one, maybe two (assumin I catch one) when the regs change.

As far as wolves, they're a bit too greasy for me, I just like them for their hide!

If you let them go I'll guarantee there will always be big brookies in that lake. I guess I just dont get it. Everyone loves to catch big fish yet it seems like 99% of the people cant see past the end of their noses. It's like all the guys that always say " i used to catch buckets full of big perch in that lake and now I cant hardly catch anything? Seriously?!?!?!
Let the big fish go and it will never be an issue with not being able to continue catching big fish in whatever body of water you are on.

No flamin here, but if I catch a 14-16" brookie, I'm eatin it. I won't keep more than 2 a year, but I would for sure throw back the hogs! If I want a big one mounted, I can pull all of measurements and take a ton of pictures before throwin it back. I do agree that the big ones 18"+ should be let back, but I don't fish GTown more than 3-5 times a year.
