Title: Northern Run Patterns?
Post by: WVBoy on Jan 08, 2005, 08:29 PM
What do you guys think of this.Does it seem like northern tend to have "runs" at times.I mean in terms like deer have runs that they follow.I was thinking that this may be due to weed lines or underwater features.Dont really know? But it is odd to me that when tipups start popping, all of the ones around there will be the "HOT" ones throughout the day.I have even followed up my theory when things get slow and I have only iced a couple of fish, I yank up my dead tipups drill more holes around my hot ones and low and behold.MORE FLAGS!  :tipup:What are your thoughts?

Pike are loners by nature... BUT if there are a lot of their forage in that area and there is decent cover and habitat, a lot of them will naturally be in that area. JMO
