Got out on ice in November for the first time ever. Multiple lines and frozen baitfish still prohibited, but managed to jig up some perch and a small fallfish so far.

That was at St Adolphe d'Howard, before the lake closed for winter on Dec 1st.

Hi Phil, do all the lakes are closed for winter in that area. Where I can know about accurate knowledge about laurentian lakes. Thanks

The Laurentians are sort of split over 3 zones.
Zone 9 = lower Laurnentians - Most lakes closed on Dec 1 until end of April, few exceptions
Zone 10 = Upper/Western Laurnentians - Zone is open, but large amount of lakes closed to ice fishing, mostly the ones containing trout species.
Zone 11 = Upper/Eastern Laurnentians - Most lakes closed on Dec 1 until end of April, few exceptions
