Tarantula Jigs
« on: Sep 28, 2011, 06:22 PM »
Just got my order of Tarantula Jigs today from Bentley Jigs.  A couple gold and a couple black/pewter.
Those are sooooo cool.  Deadly sharp too. ;)  Little and heavy.

I think they are worth the price.  The quality is top notch.  I have only lost a few jigs in 40 years on the ice, so not a big deal at 5 bucks.
The perch and bluegills better be ready!

Unfortunately with the multiple hooks, in NH, you won`t be allowed to use live bait on em. Keep the bait pucks in your pockets! Also anything under an inch=no lead!  Tungsten Wolfram Fiskas from YourBobbersDown on my rods!

Those look pretty wild to me, almost as if they'd spook lite-biting panfish.

I don't know if they will spook the fish, they are really small.  The Euro pros used them alot in the compititions.
We will see how well they work.
