Yea I'm thinking ice season is done for me just as it was getting started. Was holding out hope for a February cold snap. But not looking good.
Teach a man to fish and he will have food for life, teach a woman to fish and he will be happy for life.

So I had to go out around town for work today and saw Burlington Lake and Garner Lake with the ice almost gone. Both are only a couple feet deep but for the frost to leave the ground enough for the ice to leave is amazing. We could be on open water WAY sooner that we thought.
Side note the earliest I've been on Keyhole is March 7 back in the 90's
