I,m going there Saturday. Anybody have suggestions about which spring to fish on? How about how to fish for these hardwater perch??

I always heard spring #3 was good, but be REAL careful getting out there.

Also, these high winds aren't going to do Erie any favors this week/weekend. PLEASE be careful.

i just got home from whites landing
very disappointed a\c the MUDDY WATER
i want to let everybody know that fishing isnt worth
the time or trouble of drilling a hole!
  The ice is a good 10 inches there was a car driving around
out there.  but still no one catching perch a\c of the dark & muddy water!!

I second the report of very few fish being caught.  I have fished Whites for the past 3 weekends and have yet to catch a fish.  I have probably only seen around 10 fish caught total.  The water is vary stained and the fish just aren't cooperating.  I have caught many perch at Whites the past 3 years, but right now, it isn't worth it.  The water hasn't cleaned up at all in the past 3 weeks.  Hopefully the cold will stick around for a while and the water will clean up; if this happens, look for the fish to turn on.

I stopped at the old sandusky bay bridge
there was about a dozen shanties there
did some checking
   everybody that was fishing caught perch
not a limit but they were catching fish
   thats the name of the game
am i right ryan??

My brother Rick lives on the north shore from White's and he catches his share.He usually goes out with a friend(John) on his 4-wheeler.I'll let him know about this site so you guys can share info!!

water clears up. its about a 2 hour
drive for me. i don't mind though if i
have a chance at catching some perch

  hello hard h20 fans. not been so good lately here in
 the landing . but they cant say no one has been
trying, lots of people here lately. weds- thurs there was
some limits cought . did not see them myself,but a
 very good friend of mine did. and he was pumped.
h20 is a lot cleaner ,and still good ice 10-15inch.
limits were cought on sweidish pimples, around 2nd
 spring. jeff at little store has some. stay clear of 1st spring,there is still open h2o . keep those lines tight
 and good luck.

What size and color of pimple are they using?

get out because of birthday parties for daughter
one day and nephew the next.

LANDING. EAST OF 2ND SPRING . YES THEY ARE TURNING ON, I AM NO EXPERT, BUT I THINK THE WARM

Was on the way to work this morning and had to go over the Edison bridge, bay is starting to open up fast!!!! Dont recomend that ya get on the ice unless ya wanna get wet!!!!

 HAS A BIG TIME SALE ON MINNOWS, AND ICE FISHING
STUFF. SAD THING THE FISH WERE REALLY TURNNING ON.
