didn't make it out spent a second day at work clearing snow for monday did fish the pond behind the house finally have enough ice with the frozen slush 2 green sunfish and a bait size perch probably take a day off this week and go thanks

Been hearing good things about willard res. never fished it before thought i might try this winter... sounds like you did good yesterday... any tips on depths, where to fish, or what your using... been fishing some farm ponds for the past couple of years... just gettin into ice fishing... any help would be appreciated... i live about an hour away and would like to bring the right gear... thanx chris

man lite line and small jigs anywhere from 25 t 30 feet

Thanks... small jigs tipped with wax worms or magots, and 2lbs line should work??... I might head out this sat.

just like p.c said a vex is a must and i think a camera spooks them thats just my opinon was goin tday but had t plow snow headin out early friday  ;D ;D

didn't make friday wondered how wiper did i only have a camera and not a vex you said you think it interferes with the bite. Why is that haven't noticte that but might be why i struggle to get anything can see them nose the bait but refuse most times to eat. I can watch the body language with the vex you watch the line to move to see interest then walk them up to get a strike i want a vex also but was wondering wich is better circle flasher or the vertical showdown. Going for sure monday morning have sitter for the kids.

did real good yesterday got 26 perch n 2 eyes.  they were all suspended i was n about 38 feet n da fish we're at 15 t 20  the bellys full of plankton.man i think the res is so clear that it sure makes them spooky that just my opinion.i have the fl 20 vex. i goin up monday 2 if u want t hook up w can just let me know

went out today with some friends fished straight out from the boat ramp about 27-28ft of water not 1 fish (missed 2) even moved a few times... one of my buds had a vexilar it works good you can see the fish rise up off the bottom to your bait as you lift up they just would not bite... what part of the res. are you fishing wiper
