 hey fellow icefishermen trying to get the fishing report on both healy res. & muddygaurd res. i  flyfished at muddygaurd in late summer and did well. i was wondering how the ice fishing was and what kinds of jigs would be used. healy was the other one i was courouis about. i icefished it last year and caught quite a few perch and some trout. i went this year twice already and it seems the perch are smaller and not biting as much as last year. hoping on any advise on different techniques used

Check this link for Billings Gazette story last week about Healy:

My experience this year was very similar -- lots & lots of baby perch.  ::)

Good luck!
