Ordering Jigs
« on: Nov 05, 2011, 09:14 AM »
The problem with ordering ice fishing jigs and and lures is you have to find them at all different websites.  Are there any online retailers that carry more options than others?  I'm mainly thinking of tungsten jigs.  I'd like to try different styles and brands, but not pay separate shipping at 4-5 different sites.

You should a Gander Mtn. store somewhere close to you in Wisconsin, they usually have a decent selection to choose from or Custom Jigs & Spins website is loaded with options.

Not really of finding good jigs online.  Looking for an online store that sells all or most of the brands to save on shipping.

The cool thing about ice fishing jigs, that also makes ordering them a pain, is that there is a hundred little companies that sell great jigs, but rarely can you find them all in one place. I place orders from 5 to 10 websites, and it can get costly in shipping.

ThorneBros has the widest selction i have found

the northlands are tungsten but the HT marmooskas are not...my personal favorite tungsten, although i have not tried the northland's yet, is the fiskas wolfram jigs, i know gander carries them or try yourbobbersdown.com. CJ&S is also coming out with two tungsten models, with names that i can neither remember or pronounce. One looks awesome, the other, not so much.
