blue perch??

me and my dad were fishing last thursday, he got a 13 inch blue perch, it was the most amazing fish that ive ever seen, i will post pics tomarro

ive seen erie reds, blue perch from lake ontario and yellow perch. same species just different coloration,very different.

I caught a blue nine incher last Sunday. I caught some blue crayfish from the same body of water last summer. Posted the pic here.
 From what I hear it is a genetic mutation of a missing pigment.

I've caught a few of those in the past but with the vertical bars running down the sides. I've only caught them in 1 particular lake in the Adirondacks. They were caught by me or someone with me 3 different times in this lake. I've tried to explain how they looked to others but they seem to not believe me.

Does the sandy colored yellow perch count as brown perch?  ;D ;D

the blue perch look ghostly. havent caught any keeper sized ones. grandpa always talks about the blue pike they used to catch, we were up in canda and he almost crapped himself when we caught one up there, their vary interesting

ive caught several blue perch on the north end of cayuga lake. one 10 incher. ive also caught burbot in the seneca river with blue fins, mouth and tail. those were some creepy looking fish
