Loud.......Looks like a skin mount right? How does it look next to a picture you took. Darker? Lighter? Was she a dark colored fish?
Either way hell of a fish brother.

correct skin mount.... everything on that fish is from the original fish but it is darker than the original but not too bad.... it was way off the first time he painted it lol. I'll post a picture of it live when I take better pictures tomorrow

Nice looking mount Loudmouth . Dave327 thank you for the information on power auger use in Harriman and Sterling Forest state parks. Also nice to see that all or most of the lakes where ice fishing is permitted are open in both parks.

i danced on the water yet again today. kept 4 perch and 4 gills. small jigs and soft jiggin has been best for a bit now. i am still getting fish to come for the spoons too though, just a lighter hit...

ohhh and the snow is keeping this cold off the ice a bit. it hasn't been growing much but is strong as hell!!! but i would love 1-2 days in the 40s now to melt the snow again to let the light through more and ease the walk and/or drag. but its only 2-3 inches as of today.

It's not as much the snow as you think.... as the ice gets thicker it takes longer to grow more ice

its not growing. in a few spots its a lil thinner. i know i was turning the hand auger a few less times and seeing a bit more of it above ice as it broke through.

Fished a small pond in Sullivan this weekend caught a bouncy of dinks but used a humminbird sonar and was great to see how close you are to the bottom then the fish comes in a lot of fun and made it a lot easier. I used the tungsten jigs small was the name of the game 11 inches of ice

Can anyone tell me about access sites on greenwood lake? Any public access? Do you have to pay to park at any of the marinas? Thanks.

I believe there is only one public access point, a parking lot, on the north part of the lake in NY. Unless you know a homeowner or a marina thats all i know.
