most of the harriman lakes have good populations of perch.

arond hear you well catsh a few most aney lake , but if your looking for a lot of perch you need to go to sandy pond up st. ny above plaski ny on rt 3 i think it is
i go there every yr but not shore the rd number

I was out on greenwood lake yesterday from 10 to 3. Getting across the ice is a pain bc it froze on top of the snow and at 190 lbs. I am just heavy enough to break through the top layer of ice on each step making walking a pain in the butt. Again there was about 30 tip-ups on the ice and no flags. Me and my wife out fished everyone out there when we caught two small perch jigging but that's it. Like "gosha" said the perch are coughing up small bugs but matching that hatch didn't help they just weren't biting yesterday. I have been doing better in some of the smaller lakes in the north poconos.
