Where yo get custom made aluminium skids

Just as the header reads, I'm looking for a place to order some aluminium welded skids for my next portable permy shanty build.

Depends on where you live and what kind of metal shops are in the area. Having mine formed as 10 ft lengths and will cut to length and shape the curved ends myself.

I am looking to have a squared off "pontoon" style with curved front and backs.  6" wide and 8" tall by 11 foot long.  I might try a local welding shop but wanted to see if there was a company that made pre fab'd sets first.

Check out Snow Tow, they make some very nice skies for wheeled shacks but probably can make what you need. Not affiliated.
