Hit long point this afternoon from about 1pm til just after dark. caught 3 walleye and about 8 perch. I  cant hit the big numbers on the perch, but at least they are good sized ones.

I was over at Dickenson today and there's a shallow water pressure ridge that runs from Dickenson clear around to near Mills Point, FYI  :woot:

When I was buying sucker minnows today (the ones I plan to wax TGF, the BC Mod with) Little told me LOng Point and nearly everything near it is good fishing and the perch are large and fat. The ice is 16 inches there...not so over around Dickenson where there's a lot of spots of open water near shoreline and what ice is there is spongy looking and about 4 inches thick...may not be that way over near the highway, but it sure is at the outlet. BTW, Little has a lot of those 4-5 inch sucker minnows right now as well as shiners, etc.             LT/ISM

I was at long point this weekend and we caught some nice eyes.  2-6#s a couple 4#s and some smaller ones.  2 dozen perch and one ling.  had a good 4 days of fishing.  the wind blew so hard every day that their was open water all over around long point.  It had opened a couple cracks that by monday turnded into 4 foot wide by 200' long open water.  was a few people go through this weekend.  Hopefully the winds quits because fishing was good first thing in the morning.  but the wind came up around 10 am everyday.
