Anyone go?? Did they even have it? With the wind reports and warm weather I was wondering if they even held the derby. Probably coulda won by just showing up eh??

yes they had it sunny and breezy all day the winds hit 75 to90 around 4o'clock it held off just long enough i caught a ten lb walleye to bad they didn't have a walleye division

I'm not doubting at all.......would just love to see it!!

We took a 5.5 lb in the open water last year.......it just excites me to know there are some real hawgs in there........

Nice fish.... you dont hear of too many that size being caught here. I have caught several 5-6lbs and a couple closer to 7lbs at francis. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Did you let her go or keep her for the wall?

we took pic and putt her back to make more little ones and with that 14.50 northern cought at the derby it does look like things are looking up for the lake

That bottom one is a TANK... did you weigh it? looks like it might push 1.5-2lbs

Never touched it should still be there. I can see it?

And what was I suppose to do quit fishing?

Almost 1.3 lbs. I did pull Two more out one bigger than all of them and didn’t even take a pic or weigh it.

thank you. i saw this thing on a fishing show one time where this guy took a pic of every walleye he caught ten pounds and over and framed them 8x12 he putt them on the wall in the man nook and called it the ten pound wall so that's what I'm doing now that's a lot cheaper that the first two on my wall and they get released to make more little ones

Ice holer, That's a bad ass fish, I'm a local on Frances and that's a great catch man! I as well, am very pleased to hear there are some people out there that aren't selfish enough to kill big fish like that. A job well done!!!

close. it was super lite she took three good runs. thought i was going to loose her for a minute there but my tip up line and 6 lb tippet held up to the job. yes i would of loved to hooked her on the jigin rod maybe next time
