I saw a video several days ago and these guys said that ice was 3"-4" on Gillette. I had read reports a week before that claiming that the ice was anywhere from 5"-7". Has anyone been out there recently? We may drive up this Saturday, but I am not making that drive for 3" of ice. I need 5" to feel comfortable. ;D Any current information on Gillette, Coffin and Sherry would be much appreciated!
Stay safe!

Gilette had 7' and Coffin has 10". You should be good to go.

Thank you, sir!

Any idea which of those lakes is best for perch? The Washington state sites indicate they all have them.

I finally have my Brother interested in ice fishing! We’re doing a couple days up this way, later this month. I hope he gets the same thrill as I do, pulling fish through a hole on the ice. Yahooooo!!!

That's awesome! Good luck!

Thanks! We are headed back for round 2 the weekend of Feb. 15th! @) You should have seen the beautiful 3 lb cut-bow the gentleman next to us hooked into Sunday! I ended up being the one to reach into the hole to retrieve it. Gorgeous fish! His son's first ever ice fishing trip and he was the one to catch it!
