Title: Sabattus Pond Feb 20 Pike Derby Canceled

Anglers, the LA Junior Bassmasters Pike derby on Sabattus Pond scheduled for Feb 20 has been canceled, with no makeup date scheduled. The decision was made out of respect to the The Sabattus Family Snow Fest that will be taking place on Feb 20th. We hope everyone will understand and support our decision.

that's to bad was looking to go to that.    hope you can come up with a new derby.

We will most likely hold off until 2011. We made the decision because of safety reasons on and off the ice and out of respect to the Snow Fest which has been ongoing for the last 11 years. All options will be looked at for an event next year. The Snow Fest sounds like a great time if any of you are into snowmobiles, radar runs etc They are expecting at least twice the crowd that was at the Fish for a Cure Derby with vendors, and sled manufacturers. Speaking of the Fish for a Cure Derby, what an event, great time, excellent weather and some sweet prizes and all for a good cause. Nice job by the gang can't wait til next years event.

Wish i could be there  for it cant wait to see what 2500 people look like  so i can be prepared for the next FISH FOR A CURE DERBY !!!!!

That would be a tough date anyway with the Sebago derby going on.

Ya as son as i saw it  i was think the same thing  :tipup:
