Title: Crappie of a Lifetime

Caught this crappie in northern iowa on public water today. Fished 10 hours with the wife and was rewarded with this just after dark. Caught many over 14" on private ponds, but never thought I'd run into my personal best on public water. No measuring tape, but was almost as long as my 10lb propane tank is tall, all the way up to the collar of the tank. Estimating it went 16+ inches for sure, but will confirm once I measure the propane tank! Releases to swim another day, but may get a replica.
