I came up with this midge larva pattern a few years ago and trout, perch and crappies love it so much i rarely use anything else haha. I have a mini crawdad fly idea in my head as perch in some of the lakes i fish gorge on little 1 inch crawdads.

Yep, I use flies I tie almost exclusively.
