thx FK,
once you can see it you can print it, save it, etc.

Here is the link to the county by county layout of DEC lake depth maps.

Bowhuntken,

Better yet, buy the Sportsman's Connection WNY Fishing Map Guide.  It retails for about $20, and will give you over 100 lakes with greater info than the DEC site.  For example, it lists recent stocking data, roads around the lake and even a local contact such as a guide or bait shop.

The guide is spiral-bound and easy to carry with you in your shelter, sled, ATV, etc.  I highly recommend one.  They publish six for NY State.

I bought one and IMO its alright alot of the maps are the same exact ones that DEC has and ive found alot of false information in those books.

That is way they are only for a rough draft of a depth map for me.   ;D
But, I did catch the fish I wanted in a spot in the write up.  ::) You take the good and bad out of them. And you have to just get out there if you want to find fish.  ;) You can't do it by sitting on the couch watching TV.  8)

EXACTLY!
There are so many maps, gps units, software, and other crap out there.
They are valuable tools, but will not put fish on the end of your line.
