Title: "Between The Cracks Tourney" postponed till feb.9th!!

I just recieved a call from Jerry F who checked crystal lake and he asked me to Post this report on iceshanty... For everyones saftey, "Between the cracks" tourney at crystal lake has been postponed till next saturday febuary 9th. The ice should be solid by then. :tipup: :tipup:

The weather sucks and the ponds took a beating... What a winter, I have never seen anything like it...
Hope we can do the tourney next Saturday

I had my fingers crossed,but when I drove to work this morning in that TROPICAL STORM I just figured that there was NO WAY the ice was gonna hold up, Oh well hopefully next week.

I talked to someone at the country club last year and he said go ahead and fish. Not sure if he meant just that day or whenever. Anyone ever have any trouble getting on when not in the tournament or are they pretty cool about that sort of thing?

I work with a guy that is a member of the club and he said club members are allowed to fish it. As much as I love fishing Brothers I'm not going to buy a $1500.00 a year membership to do it.

As of now, the Tourny is still on.... Plenty of ice and everything is a go... The issue could be the storm on Friday but as I'm writing this, they are calling for all snow.  :tipup: :tipup: :tipup: :tipup:

This weather forecast sucks. Calling for up to 2 feet in Northern R.I. - where I live and  where the tourney is being held. Looks like me and my fishing partners will be stuck at home cleaning up the mess instead of fishing >:(
