Title: Season so far

I’ve gotten out a ton already this year and figured I should post about it. Been focusing mainly on the big lake. I’ve been doing more exploring this year and have fished 3 new spots/accesses on the lake. IMO one of the best things about Winni. I think I have 6 trips under belt and have zero takers on the sucker, but I’m gonna keep holding out for a big one (even though the suckers I’m using aren’t very big). Couple lake trout, new hub, and this year seems to be the year for white perch because I’ve caught one every trip, even in 14 FOW!!

What’s even crazier is yesterday I packed up early afternoon and drove around to some other areas of the lake to see how the ice was forming and drilled some holes. Even talked to some people on the ice…..

Perseverance will pay off….Winni whites are a blast on a jig rod, nice work !
