Winnebago System
« on: Dec 30, 2016, 03:54 PM »
I've been planning to come up from Indiana to see what Winnebago has to offer and in hopes of finding a new hard water destination. My question is...how is the fishing as of lately? Worth the trip up?? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

Check the fishing reports section on Lake-Link, once the season gets rolling it gets updated pretty regularly.
I'm a man, but I can change, If I have to, I guess.

I've had a couple guys tell me the walleye have been poor as of late. Bad year or on the bad side of a cycle maybe. Just what I've heard, best of luck.

Here in NW Ohio and considering the same trip. Also looking at LBDN if the ice would get its butt in gear. Got to ice at least one eye this year or I may be ill.

I would wait a little while longer for things to firm up some more. Walleye are kind of hit and miss but white bass will keep you busy if you can find a school.
