WOW im new to IceShanty but it sounds like there was not tourny last year, so idk why so many cry babies, there could be no tourny at all just keep that in mind! and as for those that are complaning about when it starts there aint a lick of ice here in VT, we have a string of cold weather that suppose to hit us but i can safely say we will not be ice fishing champlain at the earliest late december!

There was a tourney last year. Lonewolf did an exceptional job running the tourney for many years and chose to step down after last year.
I volunteered to run the tourney to keep it going. I just hope I can perform at the level Lonewolf did for all of us.

I wasn't aware of the online tourney but next year I will be on board with this tourney. I have heard nothing but good things about this website!! Hope to catch the big one next year...my luck I will catch all the big ones this year and get screwed next year!! ha ha oh well
