It has come to my attention one of our members .. Walleyerus .. has earned a World Record Catch and Release Angling Achievement Certificate from the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame for a walleye entered in our tournament !!

(I should mention that my measurement is going to differ from that of the posted certificate as I go by different rules : ex. open mouth/shortest point, etc.)

What a way to end the season !!!

a soon as i saw the pic of that walleye i knew it was the same fish i saw in a pic somewhere else that was the new world record.

Looks like it will be the iceshanty record for a long time to come.
