Slush on lakes
« on: Mar 13, 2018, 07:41 PM »
Lots of snow on northern lakes turning to slush making sled travel tough. If you don’t believe it check out Laronge now, 3 Snowmobilers and RCMP spend night getting sleds off lake.

I believe it. Heading to my cabin 130km north of La Ronge in 2 weeks. Could be a rough trip.

It’s terrible - take care out there and hug the shore lines.

And if you can't do shorelines... go fast. The long tracks with deep paddles and lots of power are pretty good compared to the old Bravo. Learned a lot about slush is those days.  ;D
