Bait/Fatheads

Minnesotas fatheads are more like nice crappie minnows. I was told they are 6-8 weeks behind on growth this year. My question is how big are the fattys in SD. I'd sure like to find some nice fatheads.

I grew up in MN and when ever we got bait my dad always asked for fatheads. I moved over here and once I started up fishing again I would get bait and asked for fatheads, after a couple strange looks I figured out that they don't specificly sell fatheads. They come small, medium or large at most bait shops. I would say the large minnows are close to the same size as fatheads.
