What model Milwaukee drill ? Will you be using 5 ah batteries as well? When you say Gen 2 you mean the one which does not require the drills chuck to be removed ?

Model number ? Should be on the side of the drill ..2804-20 ..if so you may be fine . What do you mean a Cabelas drill The 8 Inch EZE drill ?

I run a Mil 2704-20 w/5ah battery ..previous version of the 2804-20 ..on a Clam Plate w/8" HT E-Drill which is similar to the Cabelas 8" EZE Drill ..you should be all set . good luck with your set up . Also Mora/Flat/Shaver  blades on the most models will fit this drill auger bit. If you can get your hands on a set of  StrikeMaster Mora blades these are the best of the bunch as they are stainless steel.

Well one bad grab and I twist of a wrist , .forearm or elbow puts a big damper on your season ..you are more proficient with the Clam Plate ..you can really move along with them .
