It’s been a while since we did a gathering, so I was thinking maybe this year it would be fun.

Maybe an afternoon/evening at Chatfield in January?

We could do it right with cooking out on the ice, plenty of brewskis, and maybe even a couple of walleye.

Who’s interested? Name some dates that would work. Maybe a Saturday afternoon, like 2pm—till whenever we get sick of fishing and drinking.

Sausagefest 2019 it is! I got's plenty of Brats and a portable grill.
Damn, Chatfield's such a long drive..... 5 minutes from my house. The wife will shuttle me.
Looks like I got my Christmas present early.
Let's make it happen. Sausage fest I (a few years back)was a freakin blast!

I hereby propose Jan 19th/20th for Sausegefest 2019!

1. We are more likely to have ice in more places.

2. We can use this time as prep for the 3 Lakes Ice Tournament on the following weekend. https://granbychamber.com/events/event/fish/

3. It works well for me because I'm not on after-hours call support that weekend. ----i have my own selfish reason for these dates.

We’ll see how the ice is looking at Chatty those days, but otherwise it could work!

I think we’ll have to make the call a little closer to the date.

Ok, so Cherry Creek was suggested because it has good ice, and it’s a good central location, and there’s a chance at some nice fish.

I’m suggesting Saturday, 1/5/19. Who would be able to make it then?

Or 1/12/19?

Or a later date could be possible, depending on the ice conditions and how it lasts. Thoughts?
