Rips it up!
May God bless and keep you always, may your wishes all come true.
May you always do for others and let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung,
May your hands always be busy, may your feet always be swift.
May you have a strong foundation when the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful, may your songs always be sung.
May you stay forever young.

I own a 6 inch model and Milwaukee Drill. With the stabilizer bar attached (it comes with the drill) You don't really need the Clam plate. That is more optional and subject to personal preference. I agree that it is a great product. I believe the auger is engineered to work best at the same speed as the Milwaukee drill.

i had the clamplate before the kdrill, and use the clam plate to keep my drill and battery off the ice.

only drawback I've seen in the electric augers is if you hit slush . they can't handle it. i have a 50v lithium lazer strike master and its useless if slush fills your hole. it doesn't have the power turn it. my buddy has the 8'  k drill and has the same issue.

I thought the fins on the kdrill being plastic would never hold ice. Maybe spray them with Lanolin oil?

I have the 8” model and as long as I clear the hole, lifting part way through, slush or not, it doesn’t bind at all.
Perhaps I should not have been a fisherman, he thought. But that was the thing that I was born for.
