Mixed Bag...

I went to unfamiliar water today. Drilled a few holes & checked with electronics. Depth was 11'-12' looked like fish suspended at about 7'. Dropped a jig tipped with spikes...fish on immediately....a fricken bullhead! Dropped the jig & watched as it hit 7' again...this time a nice crappie. I caught about 7-8 bluegills, 5 crappie & 10 bullheads!
What are the damn bullheads doing suspended with panfish?

Cut the stomachs open and you'll find out pretty fast why they are suspended.
