one of my friends were in canada and caught a 8-10 lb bass he put it on a stringer and when he pulled up his stringer the fish was half eaten

snappin turtle. ive had a 20 pound one latch itself to my wire basket with 20 big crappies in it. not fun when you want to shoo off the turtle without breaking the basket. had to take a 2x4 to his head. wouldnt let go. but i still got all my crappies!

Answer snapping turtle wouldnt be a possibility then...And too well here anyway BAss arnt in season to july....If it summer i would say snapping turtke as the best answer for sure.
