Yesterday afternoon they were 100 to 200 yards from shore , to the west of the access.

i went there today 3" of ice fifty yards out. half a dozen guys fishin didnt see alot of yankin.

Going to hit BB in the morning. Hear the ice is "ok" so I am going to give it a shot since I can't make it all the way up to Sandy since I have to work in the eve.

Still new to the ice fishing thing so the ? ice conditions got me a bit "on edge" going out, especially since I don't have a fishing partner. Gonna be a lot of spudding on the way out there. I have NO DESIRE to see that ice from eye level!!

Jpbuilder85, there were a bunch of Pickerel in there last year and from what I hear there are still plenty. With any luck there will be five less after tommorow morning. I know most people don't target them but I kinda like them.

I was on big bay today this is what i caught , theres pleanty of ice to fish ( 2.5 to 4.5 inches) the fish are there just not biting much.................

Yesterday I had ventured 3/4 of the way across, ice varied from 4" to 8", seemed ice was being lost though, had some snow cover but was going away fast

Today all snow cover gone, hardened up somewhat over night, was raining pretty good when I left at 1pm

Fishing was tougher today for most but those persistent anglers were picking a few, its not hot n heavy thats for sure

hit the bay today at 330, ice seemed ok, not much lost. picked up 30 gills and sunnies, crappies seemed to move out gotta find them again. headin there in morn, good luc to all!

Very slow for me today, i didnt see much yankin at all. I got on around the same time. You must have been one of the only ones doin anything out there today man. Good job
