This warm whether hurt us lots of open water and white caps. We need frigid temps if going to be possible for this weekend.

  Is it so bad that were starting over from scratch? It's windier than they said it was going to be here, good 15 mph with gusts!!

This SUCKS >:( I was planning on fishing this weekend. Maybe we can at least get a cap from the cold this week. Was the open water on the main pond skip, wut about greene pt?

FWIW  - Here is the 10 Day for Pulaski , NY ..  Maybe after this weekend it will be pretty good. Single digit lows...

Just went and took a look at green point. That looked liked it had o.k. whiter ice. I also checked some of the small lakes around the area they are froze over.  I know I will be fishing some where around there this weekend.

check the point only 1/4 inch behind the shop there than went 2 the elms some thing . this cold will do us some good if the wind dies to night   :unsure:

 If I recall last winter they operated with winter hours , closed monday-wednesday but open thursday-sunday... Of course most times anglers were there when they were closed or before they opened including myself. Someone from the wigwam made it a point to catch up with you to pay your $5 which is no big deal anyway.

 Heard they were for sale , not sure if they've been bought or not. But I can find out

last year the Elm's access was blocked for a while, everyone was walking across the lawn and tearing it up,hope we can get in this year.

Wigwam is still open and still has rooms but it is new ownership. BTW if you ask me the food was much better with the prior owners. just my opinion

Checked the ice. About 150' out in front of wigwam there was 4" of ice. If you go fishing I would keep checking the ice the further out you go because there was open water out near the middle a few days ago. It looks o.k. but be safe.

  Im gonna let you guys be the sacrificial lambs over the weekend and I think Im gonna hit it Monday .. Its my birthday so buy me a beer Aww sh*t the Wam isnt open on Monday . Damn !  Bring a cold one over to my Shanty . Im in a Clam 6800. I will have a Texas Transplant with me that I am introducing to the Sport !
