Wow great paper lip nice gills anyone have a quality suggestion for an area to catch onieda pig perch maybe a bouy number? I tried a little flat fishing today , went out midday and man am I rusty took awhile to get into the swing ended up with a limit and 1 crap ,3 large mouth and 4 pikerel and 2 ran of with my jigs , and what a nice day

Hit the Slabs good the other day, but then had it handed to us today, hey that's fishing. Few days off guess the wind may howl tomorrow, back at it Thursday hopefully. Been using a bigger Caty then normal, (2nd largest) during the hot bite you can pop the jig out faster and it also gets down there faster. I bend the hook out about 15-20°, miss a few less fish as the hooks seem to get bent in after repeated dislodging it out of that tough upper jaw of a gill. Little tricks when it becomes a numbers game trying ti capitalize on a hot bite
