Yes it certainly does! I got mine today, worst outing in 2 years.  While managed some action, it was rough.  9 hard hours drilled endless holes, marked fish most holes couldn't close the deal.
Fished new water today, that left me wishing for Oneida's struggles.

Oneida sure can produce quality, last 2 days 5 guys and 5 limits in a minimal amount of time spent, with a few yellows to boot while we rested from the flatfish, lots of variety also with incidental Calico's, Pickerel, Small & Largemouth and Walleyes !!!

That would have been ant and myself we murdered them pretty good while the sun was out got our limits and between the 2 of us 16 crappies.... I do want to say I hate that when I first got there there was a guy in my hole from yesterday where I hammered them but he didn't catch many there  which I'm happy of that... I moved up alittle further and the fish were waiting for me hehe..............

I mean, no disrespect, but he was there first today and the lake doesn't belong to anybody. Personally, I like when everyone is just enjoying a day out fishing, not competing with eachother. It's only fishing.

Great perch fishing today finally  3 of us together ended up with around 80 to 90 jumbo perch.. Pics to follow tomorrow if I can figure out how to post them here lol and where can I get one of those shirts?

Stormy, how about black with white letters in 3XL. (I knew that would look good on a shirt)  . I'm thinking the local baitshops might be interested in stocking some of those. Just point us in the right direction when you get it figured out. Dug

Fished yesterday, not on Oneida(I give up) wind blew like mad. Got a limit of bigguns, on either fatheads or eyes.
I made some ice anchors after parasailing down the lake last weekend for a bit.
Really inexpensive from stuff hanging around.

15" 1/2" copper
1/4" eye bolt
cam buckle strap
piece of swim noodle
piece of parachute cord

Just slide the float up the strap and drop in hole, once below the hole slide float down into water, this keeps it in place.
To remove, slide float back up the strap, let anchor drop, pull up on string fastened to end.
Bonus: you can never lose them down the hole!
