I'm 100% sold on burbot. Ugly, tough buggers but mmmmmmmm! I just beer battered and pan fried them. I'm going to make a couple night trips this week to see what I can do. Supposedly they feed at night, although I've caught all of mine during the day.

get on the spawning beds and you should get a few , they are still in their spawning cycle

I was at Anglers Bay today for a visit and noticed hardly any activity on the lake
There are still quality fish in the lake after Walleye closes
Get at em boys...I am done for the season due to work and taking care of a few procrastinated duties...

a little over a week ago maybe 2  such info was posted , but what do I know let see your fishig off godfrey and I've only fished this lake for over 30yrs  ;)and I can tell you how I know and give your cords up but  and I won't ever fish them ask AW

Ive only fished north shore 3 times and I don't mind sharing those. I need to find some gravel. Or I'll go back to where I was yesterday and try after dark. I left right before prime time so that couldve been a decent hole.

I wish it was mine filet!!! It;s Pooches boat that he keeps down in North Carolina..
Nice Boat Pooch !! BTW, speckled trout are closed to commercial and recreational fisherman until sometime in the summer. This crazy cold winter killed tens of thousands of speckled trout in North Carolina, when the creeks,marshes, and backwaters where they winter,got so cold so fast that they basically froze to death. My son lives down there , and he told me about the fish kills....Damn cold , long winter, even in parts of the south.

Yeah that sucks about the trout, I wont be doing any fishing in NC. Just picking up the boat and heading to Florida. I plan on doing a ton of offshore fishing, weather permitting. Thats too bad about the trout, they are huge in NC too!!!!

Those perch have no clue what is about to happen to them!! I dare them to turn on and get hungry!! and, the same goes for thier cousin...the white perch!!

Those perch are eating Maki Michigan Wigglers on Perch Eye jigs out in front of where you built that big house last year

Hope the back feels better Freddie - there has to be some monster perch days between now and ice out. Of course, I have been saying that for the last couple of weeks.

My old fishing buddy came in from Minnesota for a couple of days of perchin. Going to try some spots this afternoon and then do an all day blitz tomorrow. Hope we can find a few that will bite.

Went out for perch yesterday at noon. Wasn't out long and I noticed cylinder leaking oil on my sled and then broke one of my fav jiggin rods, so I limped into shore. Loaded my gear into the truck and headed to the west end for panfish. Ended up with a nice pile of gills, sunnys, and craps. Will be back out for perch soon

Zero fish yesterday for me.  Went to Williams between 11:00-2:00. Set up the Eskimo and had to anchor that puppy down good, it was real windy. Had a bunch of lookers but no takers on the Vexilar no matter what I gave those fish to look at.  After that, packed up and met a friend at Chapman's around 2:45.  Stayed until 5:20.  Didn't use the Eskimo here.  Braved the cold but the sun kept us warm.  We moved around about three times with no success.  She got a few dink perch but no keepers.  Disappointing for sure.  Except we found that someone left an 11" perch in the bed of her truck while we were out...haha.
