Anther dawn to dark day for me today and like I said yesterday if I was an diller trying to make money on the holes I drilled today I would have been uhhh broke again, lol. Decided to just wing it and go somewhere id never been and just hop around looking for perch. Every hole I drilled I caught numerous eyes to bad they were all 8 inches lol. I just couldn't get away from them and I made big moves too. Didn't find the perch, but covered a lot of ice and it was a non stop day. Lake was great for the snowmobile and saw wheelers out as well and they were having no problems getting around. Might wanna bring a retractable shovel though to clear your area. Was checked today again, this time by the troopers on sleds, just asked for liscense. Think ill take abreak from the 17hr day, start to finish and fish Otsego tomarrow then back at it sunday and Monday. Good luck to all that go

Headed there tomorrow also kowboy, going out of glimmer glass Mabey we'll see you out there.

Where abouts is the North Shore weather cam located?  It looks like the west side of Cleveland maybe.

I didn't.  Fished the east end and made 8 moves looking for fish.  First hole was the best in 25' but still sucked.  2 short eyes and a silver bass.  Next hole I broke off my favorite lure on a fish...pretty sure it was a 12 lb eye.  Then each successive move after that produced fewer and fewer marked fish.  Awesome day out there though, no wind, sunny and very comfortable.  Very easy to move around.  Wish I had more time today, wanted to try about 1/2 dozen more spots.

Last year I had a Polaris magnum 300 needed the chains every time. This year I bought a Polaris sportsman 800 twin and haven't needed them yet. I have been on glare ice and been out on ice with 10" of snow not a problem. I guess it would depends on the machine and conditions but there are a good precaution.

Fished this afternoon from 2:00-5:15.  It started off slow, but around 4:45 we had a walleye blitz!  I ended up catching 7 keepers in 20 minutes plus a few dumped and my buddy caught 10 keepers.  Was nice to finally get into them after a few tough days out there the last week.  All fish were caught in 28 fow
