Nice job Deadeyez!

I missed the hot bite this weekend because of some family stuff. I made a quick trip tonight for an hour and went 2 for 3 on keeper eyes.

Sounds like a great day for all.  Wired, I don't know you but I hope your son recovers quickly and fully.  Looking forward to the "blitz" video.  I need a blitz!  Have yet to truly experience an ice blitz yet.

Almost forgot....what is the deal with idiots racing past us today on machines?!! First we had 2 snow machines race by us at 13 steps (I paced it off) and then some genius on a can am atv flew right threw our group which was about 40 feet apart... This guy went by even closer.  So this evening the same atv comes flyin right back the same route he took earlier except this time we jump in front of him and get him to stop.  We told him that we are tryin to fish here and tell him to go around us and not through our group. He says sorry, I didn't know, I don't fish.    Unreal!! There are some beauty's out there I tell ya

What a awesome weekend out on oneida! Fished from 3:00-5:00 sat evening and smashed the eyes!! Did 28 keepers in 2 hours and then was treated to an amazing sunset.  Today fished from 10-1 and then came back out after lunch and fished from 3-5. Today's total was 38 keepers with a dozen shorts and countless more dropped and missed!! What a bite this weekend! All eyes were caught in 25 fow. The majority of the walleyes I got were on the bare jig to! They were super aggressive! Great to see all the good reports!!

Fished out of Constantia in about 18-20 foot of water. Walleye bite was hot, perch were slow for me but got a few keepers. Hopefully the big storm misses us so we can get back out.

I went across the Mason Dixon line, didn't get out till 11, was waiting to hear from a buddy..... Never did, miscommunication  :( Anyway I just missed the hot bite, the guys I met had a heck of a morning, then they shut off like a light switch. I got 4 perch right off the bat, then got rejected so many times I'm going to need therapy  At 3 they started up again as the front came thru, did 4 more perch, 2 keeper eyes, 4 shorts, 2 pin pike and my screen was full from 32 feet to 20 when I turned it off, eyes were fighting over the jig, would have been an epic bite, but I was 1.3 miles out and chose a ride in..... Hope the top firms up I walked halfway out before my ride came in for me, It sucked even with a smitty.

Good job on the perch an eyes DD.  Dragging through that snows makes the beers taste better. Lol

Well my curse has been lifted...I caught my first keeper eye through the ice and then 20 more after that one...I lost just as many fish and broke off a Huge Pickerel at the hole...I had my limit before 8 o'clock and just experimented and learned until 10 or so...a few of you out there have given me some pointers and today it paid off...thank you! You know who you are...I finally got to experience a hot bite...it was a beautiful morning and there were a ton of shanties covering the horizon...I have always been able to figure out certain ways and certain types of fish but for some reason Eyes through the ice is the biggest fishing challenge I have had...good to be humbled and even better to finally have some success... :) :)

KP was ready to fight this morning LOL  :o :o ;D ;D...good to see you and Jr again in the parking lot, hope you got into them!
Wad and I were out there with him too and we all did well. Lots of fun when the bite is on!

Sorry to hear that news.    Good to hear it wasn't severe.  The key to a full and speedy recovery is excessive activity !   Physical and mental !
Hope everything works out and your son gets back on pace soon !

It's raining pretty good right now. That should knock most of that snow down and freeze it good. Maybe we can take advantage of a few cold nights and build some more ice. Then we get another warm up next weekend?

I like this pattern...  ;D
