Oldschool makes me laugh. Like when someone tells me I shouldn't use a release when bow hunting. I should shoot traditional use my fingers hahaha. My comment back is you're using a compound bow how Oldschool is that. Invariably there will be another guy who says not me I use a recurve and shoot fingers so I'm reeeealy old school. So then I have to ask...did you make it yourself?  Did you make your own arrows or did you buy them and glue fetching on. My point is this. If you enjoy old school or whatever you think old school is that's fine but don't tell people they shouldn't use technology. Just catch fish and do it however you enjoy doing it. Me I will take my frabill my heater my Marcum and probably still not catch enough fish but I'm having a ball so relax man its just about fun and fish. Sorry if anyone is offended just my two cents

My two cents on this. First off Boggey out fishes me every time, When the bite is on. When it's not the flashers and GPS make an average fisherman and much better fisherman. It doesn't take a genius to look at a GPS map, look for drop offs and follow and arrow to find more fish. Also the GPS units now also can bring you to structures that normally a newbie wouldn't know about. As for the flashers, I didn't bring mine today but I really forgot how much fun it is to sit there and talk and fish. Normally I'm starring at a bunch of red and yellow lines and trying to predict the bite. With that said I can pull three to one fish with a flasher then when I don't have one.

thats why most of us including me wont fish without one right. gotta roll with the changes or be left behind freddie dont have a problem talking and watching his graph. hell he even yells at the fish once in a while

After checking BB yesterday morning (not safe) with Sully I decided to fish a place closer to home. Got onto some safe ice and managed to bring home a few flats for dinner. Only could stay for 2 hrs.
