I havent been there fishin but I take my dog to Sandy Hollow. Theres some holes in the ice. The water is way low.
Every plastics manufacturer claims plastics outfish livebait. So now I use livebait just for the increased challenge.

I was out with my dog just now. There was some young guys fishing. I walked out to talk to them. One guy had 2 smallish blugills and they said they werent catching a whole lot. I stuck my hand down in the hole to check ice and decided it was time to go. Ice was about 3.5" and soft.
