Hope this guy is right and it's not just mildly cool for Jan.

That would certainly be nice... it has been ridiculously warm here so far this month. It tickled 60° a couple times last week, and there's several highs around 50° in the 10 day.

Looking out the window ...about an inch or so of snow clinging to the trees ....most of my first ice is polar vortex related ..
