We are going to Chamout. No wheelers or sleds but walking is good. The hardware store said 3-6" on Chamout 4-8 in Three Mile bay and Guffin bay. Long walk but.......

Yo Guys & Gals,

It was a beautiful day on the Pond. A little overcast in the am and nice sunny skies in the afternoon. Old Boggey has been in search of perch the last two days without much luck. Been looking in the wrong places.  Found them , let's just say t hey weren't deep. That's your only clue ;)2
The ice over on the east side was 8 inches on all the holes I cut with 2 to 3 inches of crusty snow on the top.

There were over 20 shanties on the main Pond. Many pail sitters and I noticed at least 2 snow mobiles.

I said I found the perch. I didn't say they were all big. Sorted through a hundred to keep 8 over 8 inches. Lost one eye at the hole and pulled a nice 28 inch slime log through the hole. Took a picture just to brag.

Boggey

Yo Woodburn,

Hope to see you out there today. Be ready for that top 2 inches of crusty snow to turn to slush.. I will definitely be dragging with the smitty. Today.. Look for a grizzled old man with a beautiful young princess by his side. Yes, my Bella has found a brief period in between school , basketball,, lacrosse and boyfriends to spend a day on the ice with her grandpa. When she was younger, it was much more comonplace to have my young fishing partner with poppy on the ice and in the boat. Sadly, the confluence of all these aforementioned activities tend to lock poppy out of her new social fabric. Excuse me if I rejoice in the moment. After all, it is the way of things these days. Just glad poppy is still in the running for fun things to do. humbsup:

Yo Guys & Gals,

I don't have any reports for South Pond
At the East shore of North Pond , I am still cutting holes through 8 inches of ha add hard ice with a couple inches of slush and water on top. That was Monday. Last night may have changed that top layer a bit. Will write a report latter today. Did not check access any place else so pursue access with caution and spud spud spud till the cold temperatures freeze up that top layer of slush and standing water.
