Weather not looking good

Highs near 50 today with wind, 40's all week. Thinking we could lose what little ice we have here in Hancock county!

My truck read 60 today at lunch... and I have plans with a buddy to hit the ice Saturday :/ fingers crossed for the Belgrade area. Long haul for me to get there and just turn around

definately not looking good at all... might have to head north the rest of this month but considering the super slow fishing ive experienced this week ( 3 skunks in a row !!!) and the reports that lakes up north have been hot im thinking it might not be a bad thing to force me north.

Ice around the mid coast is looking really slushy. Hope to be able fish this weekend.

Maybe we can rent a bus and driver to Rockwood. Checked the cam today and it looks awesome. The Moosehead sled cam shows open water at the mouth of the river and a bit more sketchy out but north of the river on the 2nd cam it looks great.

Be extremely careful walking or riding on any ice. What was good an safe last weekend might not be this coming weekend.
