I picked up a nearly new Jiffy electric. It's around maybe 8 years old. I have tried to contact the Jiffy company with no luck. I used it yesterday for the first time. My question is this, since it has some age, can the gear box dry up. Reason I ask this when I ran it the gear box sounded a little dry. Really I'm not sure what it suppose to sound like. What does a person use for gear grease?
