We had 5-6" of good ice the other night, with the temps closing in on 60 degree's and 1" of rain coming as well I guess we can say good bye to most of the ice here in central mass.

The good news for us Alaskans (near Anchorage) is that we have had plenty of ice on the lakes for over a month now.  The problem lately is rain/snow/rain/snow/rain/snow...  The last couple of days it has been in the mid 40's.  It started snowing again today and is expected to get cold again.  The lakes are safe, but messy for now.  Oh well, ice is ice is ice.  Gonna head north and try for some lakers and burbot.

The Hi here in SD was around -2 - 0 today with morning lows this morning in the -10 range and tomorrow morning looking like -15.  Finally got some excellent ice on the lakes.  Feel sorry for you guys waiting...hopefully the above ice wish does you some good.  Now if I only had time to do some fishing......

Was up to 57 here in NY and it was like a monsoon came through. We did have snow and ice. Well...there still some ice but its going to take a few cold night to make it safe again anyway

Do the leaves of trees stay greener, in the autumn, does the colour of the sun, turn crimson white? Does a shadow come between us, in the winter?

15 below when I left Montana. I'm in Florida now for a week and looking forward to some more softwater fishing. I hope it stays below freezing the whole week I am gone so I can have some thick ice when I get back. I can't wait to get into some walleyes and perch.
