I never understood playing fishing games on a computer, xbox, or PS2.  If you have the time to fake fish on a machine, why not go out and do the real thing.  Unless of course you like to get drunk and get chiefed while fishing, then sit on the couch and fish all you want.
Real fisherman don't yield to the weather.

Gotta work Christmas this year, but we each get to go home for a couple of hours.  Just being able to spend that time with the family is good for me.  However, I did happen to wander into the ice fishing aisle when the wife and I were shopping at the local sporting goods store the other night.  I'm pretty sure she knew what I meant when I kept picking the same auger up over and over again.  Also pointed out a few jigs that would fit nicely in the stocking. And like many others...

Ice!...Ice!...Ice!
Fish may be stupid but I've never seen a perch sitting in a boat with a second degree sun burn trying to catch a man.

A misstress for Christmas..... (my wife with a blond wig). LOL!

Oh, and a new fish finder for my boat.

you might need to cut a big hole to get that boat in   ;D

i'm being unselfish this year.  i am hoping my friends get everything that i think they need.... - that way my wife won't crabass at me the rest of the year when i have to go buy everything myself ;D

although i think a new honda rincon might be in the stocking

Hey perchfisher i got me one of those Shappell 3000dx
Not a bad little set up. Sets up in about 1-2 minutes. Room enough for 2 people plus gear. Nice large window so you can see your flags fly high. The only problem i had with mine is I think a couple staples pulled out of where the floor attaches to the tent material. And  the window has a smal 1" crack in it. I assume this may be from using it out in the cold but its an easy fix, just put some tape over it and it wont keep tearing.  The only other recomendation if i may suggest is that you get yourself some decent hooks to screw into the ice to secure it down (BEFORE YOU SET IT UP) last year i had mine set up before i tied it down and the darn thing blew half way across the lake before a guy on a 4 wheeler caught up to it and dragged it back for me.
Overall i would give this shack a B+  the price is pretty good.  If you are going with more than 2 people, spend the extra cash and get yourself the 4000
just my 2 cents :flex:

All I really want is a long track snowmobile with a custom built fishtrap shanty carrier on the back, auger carrier on the front, and a RAM mount on the dash for my GPS.  I don't think that's too much to ask, is it?  I guess I'd settle for a Marcum OVS560 :-)

My list includes:

Wool socks
6 inch Nils Master hand auger
Aqua Vu Scout
Lip Gripper
Honda Rancher 4 x4 ES

I told my wife if  she felt the above was abit much, I would suffer through another season with my old socks and she could delete them from the list. ;)

Seriously, all I want is to see the kids smiling faces on Christmas morning.

I could use some decent ice , been out 3 times on 3" of white ice , seems solid enough but we should have more by now. Going to be in the 40's, lows in teens ice should hold up. Might even ask f/ a couple 32" HT Polar Lite Medium/lights,ice rods, picked one up F/ myself it it seems like a nice rig. Merry Christmas everyone. Bottom Bouncer

The two ice fishing related gifts that I'm asking for are Ice Loks and a heater (I broke my 35$ coleman last year).  Does anyone have the brand Mr. Heater?
